What is NFC

NFC, also known as Near Field Communication, is a short-distance high-frequency wireless communication technology that allows non-contact point-to-point data transmission (within ten centimeters) to exchange data between electronic devices. This technology evolved from contactless radio frequency identification (RFID). It was first successfully developed by Sony and Philips. Due to the natural security of near field communication, NFC technology is considered to have great application prospects in fields such as mobile payment.

What is the NFC function

At present, NFC technology is mainly applied in the following five categories on mobile phones.

1. Touch and Go, such as access control management, tickets and tickets, etc., the user can store the ticket or door control password close to the card reader, and it can also be used for logistics management.

2. Touch and Pay, such as non-contact mobile payment, the user can make the payment by placing the device close to the POS machine embedded with the NFC module and confirm the transaction.

3. Touch and Connect, such as connecting two NFC devices for Peer-to-Peer data transmission, such as downloading music, transferring pictures and exchanging address books, etc.

4. Touch and Explore, the user can connect the NFC mobile phone to a smart public phone or poster with NFC function on the street to browse traffic information and so on.

5. Load and Touch, the user can receive or download information through the GPRS network for payment or access control and other functions. As mentioned above, the user can send a text message in a specific format to the housekeeping attendant's mobile phone to control the housekeeping attendant's permission to enter and exit the house.

How to use NFC function?

First make sure your mobile have NFC function, that have NFC module in it.

1. Turn on the NFC function in your phone, Settings--NFC, turn on it

2. After opening NFC, select what you want to share, and then the two devices back to back, keep the distance within 10cm. This time the system will start to connect, 2 devices connected, click the file you want to send, you can send to the other mobile phone, this function is similiar as bluetooth function.

3. You can also check balance and recharge the bus card, if other devices supports NFC function, such as audio, TV, access control, etc, you can also use a mobile phone with NFC function to control them.

4. NFC mobile read NFC tag to quickly turn on mobile function, like connect wifi, turn on conference mode, turn on designated app and so on.
